How to Make The Marinara Sauce with the MarinaraIngredientsFor the marinate:2 tablespoons olive oilFor the sauce:2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, shredded1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, diced1/4 cup shredded mozarella cheese pieces, divided1 cup finely chopped basil, finely chopped2 teaspoons garlic powder, plus more to taste1/3 cup fresh lemon juice2 teaspoons fresh dill, chopped2 cups sliced roasted red peppers, thinly slicedFor the toppings:1 cup diced tomato2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil, plus a pinch of salt1/8 teaspoon saltFor the Sauce:3 cups shredded marinata sauce2 cups water1/5 cup fresh dilled basil, dividedFor the topping:2 teaspoons dried basilFor the Recipe:4 large garlic cloves, peeled and roughly chopped2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan (about 3 cups)1/6 cup extra-virgin olive oil1 tablespoon ground black pepperFor the Instructions:Combine the olive oil and the marinsa in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Once it starts to simmer, reduce the heat to medium low and let the marinated ingredients cook for about 30 minutes.

Add the Parmesan and the remaining 1/4 cups olive oil, and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes.

Remove from the heat and let sit for 15 minutes.

Once the sauce is done, pour into a large bowl and set aside.

To make the sauce, heat the olive water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Add in the mozzared shredded mozoarella and cook for 2 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt the Parmiessan cheese in a heavy-bottomed bowl and stir it into the shredded moza.

Allow to melt for another minute or two, and then add the remaining 2 cups of olive oil to the pan.

Let it cook for another 5 minutes.

While the sauce cooks, place a large plate on the stovetop over medium high heat.

In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients and pour the sauce into the prepared large plate.

Repeat with the remaining cheese and the basil.

Serve immediately.
